About Us

The Karnataka State Temperance Board, in association with District Information Officers, regularly organizes public awareness programmes, to create awareness about the ill effects of alcohol addiction and substance abuse.

At the same time, the Board also seeks help from various NGOs to organize such programmes and selected NGOs who conduct de-addiction camps are provided grant in aid.

This apart, the Board also recognizes achievers in the field and present them with ‘Samyam awards’, especially for those persons, who have significantly contributed for the cause of de-addiction.
